6th Year Ancient Civilization Research Requirements and Due Dates

Sources must be approved prior to October 9: Each student must bring in their book(s) of their civilization for approval from teacher.

The rough draft should be handwritten, and the final draft of the report can be typed or handwritten in cursive and in pen. If you choose to type your report, please double space between the lines and use Times Roman or Arial font.

Make sure to include a title page: Name of Ancient Culture, student's name, final due date, student's class teachers, and a hand drawn image that portrays a fundamental need of tribe.

6th years: 3-D tribal shelter that can be constructed as a singular construction, diorama, or a tied to the  landscape that is relevant to the empire's region. Students are always welcome to bring in additional projects to enhance their shelters. If these projects can tied into the fundamental need of art, philosophy or religion then it will acceptable to stand in for the handmade piece of art.

The research paper (including the rough AND final drafts) and artistic project are due Friday, November 17th.

Rough Draft Paragraph Due Dates:

     October 9th- hardcopy book or library reservation notice

6th-October 23rd-Political Structure and Geography Paragraphs

     October 30th- Economy, Choice (Mathematical or Astronomy) and      Architecture Paragraphs

     November 6th- Introduction and Conclusion Paragraphs

     November 17- Rough and Final Drafts due

                              Artistic portion due
