Ms. Molly & Ms. Chelsea

Lower Elementary Lead Teacher

Ms. Molly grew up in Richmond, Virginia and moved to Charleston in 2014.  She lives on James Island with her husband, Sean, and their two cats and dog, Remi.  She graduated from James Madison University with a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education.  She has been teaching for a total of four years: three years in a traditional setting as a first grade teacher and one year as a Montessori teacher in Lower Elementary. Ms. Molly completed her Lower Elementary training this summer through Seacoast Center for Montessori Education.  She truly loves the Montessori philosophy and is excited to start her second year at ECMCS!  In her free time, Ms. Molly enjoys crafting, practicing yoga, and spending time outdoors.

Lower Elementary Assistant Teacher

Ms. Chelsea is new to the ECMCS family, and can't wait to begin teaching!  She is a Mount Pleasant native, and a graduate of Porter-Gaud School.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Clemson University, and is currently enrolled in the Citadel Graduate College to receive her Masters in Education for Counselor Education.  Ms. Chelsea worked in banking for six years after graduating from Clemson, and is thrilled for her career change to pursue what she truly loves. She lives on James Island with her husband, Peter, and in her free time can be found on the beach, riding her bike around her neighborhood, and performing improv comedy at Theatre 99 downtown (along with Ms. Stephanie)!
